UniCalendar is designed to help students manage timetables exported from Neptun. This Privacy Policy explains what data the app uses and how that data is handled.
UniCalendar stores timetable-related data locally on your device. This includes imported timetable files, manual class entries, archived timetables, settings, widget data, and A/B week configuration.
If you choose to subscribe to Sync, your timetable, archived classes, and preferences are also stored in your own private iCloud account, using Apple's CloudKit private database. This data is only accessible to you, in your own iCloud account - the developer does not have access to it and cannot view, download, or export it. Sync can be turned on or off independently on each of your devices, and turning it off does not delete your data; it simply stops sending updates to iCloud from that device.
UniCalendar does not require account creation, login, or profile registration. Optional Sync uses your existing Apple ID / iCloud account, managed entirely by Apple.
UniCalendar does not operate its own remote backend or server. Core timetable features work fully offline. The optional Sync feature uses Apple's iCloud (CloudKit) infrastructure directly; no data passes through or is stored on any server operated by the developer.
UniCalendar does not sell your personal data. The app is not designed to collect personal timetable data for advertising or third-party profiling purposes.
Sync is offered as an auto-renewable subscription (monthly or yearly) through the App Store. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple; UniCalendar and its developer never receive or store your payment card details. If you contact us by email, we may receive the information you choose to include in your message, such as your email address, device details, screenshots, or bug descriptions.
If you choose to use an external link such as email, that service operates under its own privacy terms and policies. Optional Sync relies on Apple's iCloud and CloudKit services, which operate under Apple's own privacy policy.
Because UniCalendar primarily stores timetable data locally, you can remove most stored app data by deleting timetable entries in the app or uninstalling the application from your device. If you have used Sync, you can also delete your synced data by turning off Sync on all your devices and removing the UniCalendar data from your iCloud account via your device's iCloud storage settings.
